Antique jewelry box, covered externally with burgundy leather and a fine gold border on the lid. 

The interior is lined with orange velvet (bottom) and matching silk (inside of the lid). 

Push-button clasp with a red cabochon element.

Circa 1900 (Historicism / Art Nouveau).

Fineness/Hallmark

 No metal hallmarks visible. Signature on the silk: 

"Ernst Menner Stuttgart" under a crown (former royal purveyor).

Condition 

Good, age-appropriate condition with charming signs of wear. 

The leather shows abrasion at the edges, and the gold embossing is partially rubbed.

 The lining is clean and well-preserved, and the hinge and clasp mechanisms are fully functional.
