 Antique miniature notebook (carnet de bal) made of dark patinated metal.

 The front is decorated with a plastic application in the form of a heraldic lion, 

holding a coat of arms. 

On the side there is a tubular holder, 

which originally served to hold a matching miniature pen and also functioned as a locking mechanism.

Age/Decade

 Circa 1900. The handwritten entries inside are precisely dated to the years 1907 and 1909.

No hallmarks visible; 

Made of metal with a silver-colored application.

Condition

 Good, authentic original condition with signs of age. The metal has a charming, dark patina. 

The binding is intact. 

The paper pages are present and partly provided with historical handwritten dedications and verses in German and French (e.g. dated Günzburg, 1907/1909). The original pen is missing.
